Moong sprouts are low in calories, and contain Vitamin K, Vitamin C, Vitamin B, High fiber and have several benefits. They are crisp and thus taste good as a salad as well as a bhel. Both bhel as well as the salad are a good option for breaking the fast

Moong Sprout Salad
Ingredients (for 1 serving)
1/2 cup moong sprout
1/2 cup iceberg lettuce
1 tomato cubed
1/2 onion cubed
1/2 capsicum cubes
For dressing : Olive oil, lemon, ground pepper & salt (Variant 1)
                       Mayonaise, Oregano, salt (Variant 2)
Method :
Mix all ingredients and just before eating make the dressing either of the varients and mix it in the salad

Moong Sprout Bhel
Ingredients (for 1 serving)
1/2 cup moong sprout
1 potato boiled and cubed
1/2 onion finely chopped
1 tbsp sev
1 crisp poori
Tamarind chutney
Green Chutney (grind a handful of coriander, 1 green chilly, 2 garlic cloves, and few drops of lemon)

Method :
Mix moong, potatoes & onion. Add salt to taste, sprinkle jeera(cumin) powder and red chilly powder(if you like it spicy). Add 2 tbsp of tamarind chutney, 1 tbsp of green chutney and mix well. Add sprinkle of sev and crisp poori and serve
