All of us would love to have that perfect skin and we can do almost anything to achieve it. There are countless products readily available in the markets and am sure all of us have tried several of them. Wouldn’t it be amazing if we are able to achieve similar or better results without the chemicals using ingredients found in our kitchen?
Most of us think that making these face packs at home might be time consuming and avoid doing this. But this isn’t true, infact making face packs at home is really simple and they can be stored and used almost as easily as the products available off the shelf.
Am sharing 2 such face packs that can be made at home and used for dry skin.
Chocolate face pack
Take 2 tsp almond oil, 1 tsp glycerine, 1 tsp cocoa powder and mix it well. Apply on your face and neck and keep it on till it just starts to dry (This is very important, make sure to wash it off when it is just starting to dry). Wash it with luke warm water first and then rinse with regular water. Dab skin with tissue (Do not use a towel)
This face pack is one of my favorites since I have a terrible weakness for chocolates and while applying as well as after being washed there is a lingering chocolate fragrance which I like a lot.
Variation : Add a tsp of sugar to this pack and it can be used as a good face scrub.
Banana face pack
Take 1/4 banana, 1 tsp curd and 1tsp honey. Mash the banana and then add the honey and curd. Apply on face and neck and keep it on for 10 to 15 mins. This pack does not dry. Again follow the same washing routine as started above, first luke warm water then regular water and tissue dry the face pack
Dry skin ages faster than oily or combination skin type so it needs that much more care. Trying a few of these home made face packs will help you understand which ones work best for your skin.
